These Terms of Use apply to the Acquire Tech Co., Ltd. website at www.firstline.cc and all websites operated by Acquire Tech Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries that link to www.firstline.cc, including its websites worldwide (collectively, the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

Acquire Tech Co., Ltd. — Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing FIRST LINE services (the “Services”), provided by Acquire Tech Co., Ltd. (“Acquire Tech” or “Acquire”). Using the Services means that you agree to these terms (the “Terms”) and confirm that you are over 13 years old. If you use the Services for an institution or legal entity (an “Organization”), you accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” and “your” refer to that Organization. Read these Terms before using the Services. If you disagree with them or with Acquire Tech’s right to amend them, or if your country or region excludes all or part of these Terms, stop using the Website and Services immediately.

By using the Acquire Tech Website or Services, you represent and warrant that:

You are a natural person, legal entity, or other organization with full legal capacity and authority to accept these Terms. If you lack that capacity, you and your legal representative are responsible for all resulting consequences, and Acquire Tech may seek compensation from both of you, including attorneys’ fees.
You are not located in the European Union or European Economic Area. If you are located there, Acquire Tech may terminate your use of the Website or Services at any time.
You are legally entitled to use the Website and Services. To the extent permitted by law, you agree that Acquire Tech may use your data and operate the Website and Services to comply with applicable law or mandatory legal requirements.
You will never use the Website for an unlawful purpose or in an unlawful manner, will comply with the laws of the Republic of China and international conventions governing internet use, and will not use the Website or Services to infringe another person’s rights.
You are responsible for legal liability arising from any violation of applicable law. You agree that Acquire Tech may immediately terminate your right to use the Website or Services in specified circumstances, including those below, and may seek compensation for any resulting loss or damage, including litigation costs, attorneys’ fees, and reputational loss:
- Using the Services for unlawful activity or an unlawful purpose, or violating applicable law.
- Uploading content that violates applicable law, including intellectual property and publicity laws.
- Attempting, or helping another person, to access the Website without authorization.
- Abusing an API or submitting requests at an excessive frequency.
- Using bots or other technical methods to alter, delete, or damage Website data or equipment, or adversely affect Website operation.
- Exploiting a Website vulnerability or bypassing or damaging a security mechanism to alter, delete, or collect another person’s personal data.

Acquire Tech may cancel or terminate your right to use the Website or Services at any time if suspicious activity occurs. You must comply with these security requirements and accept any suspension or termination of access. Notify Acquire Tech immediately at info@firstline.cc of any other security violation.

Limited License

Acquire Tech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Website and Services. Acquire Tech may transfer any right, interest, or obligation, and these Terms remain fully effective for its successors and assigns.

User Conduct

You may access and use the Website only for the intended purpose of Acquire Tech Services or another purpose expressly permitted by Acquire Tech. You agree and warrant that you will not:

Intrude into the Website, or decompile, reverse engineer, interpret, decode, or otherwise obtain its source code.
Modify, adapt, improve, enhance, translate, or create derivative works from the Website.
Violate applicable law.
Remove, alter, or conceal information belonging to Acquire Tech or its enterprise customers, suppliers, partners, or licensors.
Use the Website for an unauthorized purpose.
Provide Acquire Tech Services externally through the internet or another method.
Use Acquire Tech proprietary information or intellectual property without authorization.
Obtain or attempt unauthorized access to or use of Website or Service content.
Use or attempt to use a web crawler on the Website.
Place disproportionate traffic on infrastructure, abuse an API, or submit requests too frequently.
Upload data containing a virus, Trojan horse, or worm.

Intellectual Property

Software and programs used by the Website and all Website content—including works, images, files, information, data, architecture, screen arrangements, and web design—are protected intellectual property owned by Acquire Tech or another rights holder, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. No person may use, modify, reproduce, publicly broadcast, adapt, distribute, issue, publicly present, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble them without prior written consent from the Website or relevant rights holder. A violation makes you liable to Acquire Tech for damages, including attorneys’ fees.

Disclaimer

You agree that Acquire Tech may, at its sole discretion and upon notice, terminate or suspend your access to or use of the Website at any time. Acquire Tech is not liable to you or a third party for loss or damage arising from that action.

The Website and Services are provided “as is,” and Acquire Tech may modify any or all service functions at any time. Acquire Tech makes no express, implied, or statutory warranty, claim, or representation regarding the Website or Services, including quality, performance, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or warranties arising from a course of dealing, usage, or industry practice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acquire Tech does not warrant that the Website, Services, or their functions will be accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, reliable, accurate, complete, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Acquire Tech does not warrant that the Website or its servers are free of viruses, worms, software locks, kill devices, Trojan horses, routing devices, trap doors, time bombs, or other harmful code, commands, programs, or components. Acquire Tech is not liable for damage or loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or Services and has no duty to notify you.

Acquire Tech does not warrant that the Website or Services will be unaffected by a third party’s conduct, including cyberattacks, and does not warrant that it can foresee, prevent, mitigate, or take appropriate action against such conduct. Acquire Tech is not liable for resulting damage or loss.

Acquire Tech does not pre-screen all Website content and cannot fully control user conduct. You must independently assess and assume all risks concerning the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of content. Acquire Tech may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. Where reasonably necessary for the following purposes, Acquire Tech may preserve or disclose Website content to a government agency, judicial police, a minor’s guardian, or a relevant member:

To comply with law or a government request.
To provide Website services.
To prevent substantial harm to another person’s rights.
To prevent imminent danger to a user’s or the public’s life, body, freedom, rights, or property.
In another circumstance Acquire Tech considers necessary.

Acquire Tech may temporarily or permanently modify or terminate the Website or Services, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice. Acquire Tech is not liable to you or a third party for any modification, suspension, or termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that you bear all risks relating to your use of the Website or Services and their performance.

API

You may access your Service data through an application programming interface (“API”). By using an API, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acquire Tech is not liable for damage arising from the Website or Services, including loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, or data, and indirect or consequential loss. Except for damage caused by Acquire Tech’s intentional negligence, its liability to a user is limited to the single monthly subscription fee paid by that user to Acquire Tech.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to fully indemnify Acquire Tech and its directors, shareholders, managers, employees, agents, servants, affiliates, and partners, including attorneys’ fees, for any lawsuit, liability, litigation cost, claim, direct or indirect loss, or damage arising from your use of the Website or Services or your breach of these Terms.

Acquire Tech may stop providing related services at any time where force majeure, a change in law or policy, or another factor outside its control prevents performance of Website services.

Changes to these Terms

Acquire Tech may modify these Terms or suspend or terminate the Website or Services at any time without separate notice. Changes will be published on the Website, and you are responsible for reviewing them. Once published, the revised Terms replace the prior Terms between you and Acquire Tech. Continued use of the Website or Services after a change means that you have read, understood, and accepted it.

Governing Law

These Terms and their validity, interpretation, application, and dispute resolution are governed by the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising from use of the Website or Services or a breach of these Terms. If negotiations fail and litigation follows, the parties agree that the Taipei District Court in Taiwan is the court of first instance.

You and Acquire Tech may bring claims only in your own names and may not participate in a class action, representative action, consolidated proceeding, or proceeding involving multiple claimants.

Data Collection and Use

When you register for the Website or Services, we ask for information such as your name and email address. We also retain your email address, mobile telephone number, and payment information. Your data is used only internally and will never be shared with a third party without authorization.

Beta Products

The Website or Services may provide features or products that are still being tested and evaluated. These may be identified as beta, preview, early access, evaluation, or a similar term. Beta products may be less stable than other Acquire Tech products.
